Located in DuPage, County,Lisle was founded in 1830 when a Quaker named Bailey Hobson settled in what would become Lisle, Illinois. In 1832, the Hatch Brothers began acquiring land that would become Ogden Avenue and created a farming community known as DuPage. Later the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad would establish a station in Lisle in 1864, making the town accessible to even more settlers. Today, Lisle is a large and thriving community, home to over 20,000 residents.
